In conjunction with Bespoke Training Services, we were delighted to be co-sponsoring this year’s Learning & Development category and the main focus, as co-judges, was to look for employers who really placed value on developing their teams.
The size of the business and their team wasn’t a factor but the demonstration of how they really value the development was paramount. Although the category is open to Apprenticeships and Graduate schemes as well as management development, we looked for innovation and real commitment to learning and how that could be demonstrated on a day to day basis, rather than a box ticking exercise.
Well done to Ryan, Ben and the whole team!
“Having grown from humble beginnings in their parent’s garage, C4S Search shone out above the others right from the start. The detail they included in their initial application, the care that had been portrayed in the preparations and the welcome we received when we visited (not just from the business owners, also from the entire team) was nothing short of outstanding! They have a very clear development strategy which is engrained into the culture of their business for all their employees and adopts a variety of really innovative development approaches both internally and using external support when they recognise that they lack the expertise internally”
We also wanted to say a huge thank you to all the other submissions and delighted to get a snapshot of the various efforts that employers are making in taking forward their learning and development programmes. Special mention for Gemma, ‘An Apple a Day Supply’ who was runner up.
We hope to be sponsoring this category again in 2019 so we would like to encourage you to start thinking about your own learning and development strategy and look forward to your submissions next year!
